Creative Abstract Photography:

As photographers, our biggest gift is learning to really SEE! From finding
interesting subjects in unusual (but common) places, to using in-camera techniques such as Multiple Exposures
and Intentional Camera Movement, abstract art can be found anywhere, and at any time of day, if you learn to
see it! Join Leslie Hoyt as she shows some techniques to stretch your creativity and helps you embrace a little
serendipity!

About Leslie Hoyt:

As a fine art photographer, I am drawn to the natural world. And while I love a sweeping landscape, my
true fascination lies in the smaller, often overlooked details. I find wonder in the delicate nuances of shape,
pattern, color, and texture that emerge when I take the time to really look closely. Through my lens, I seek to
capture fleeting moments that offer a glimpse into the essence of a subject, frozen in time. Photography has
taught me the invaluable skill of truly "seeing"- not just observing, but understanding the subtle complexities
that make up the world around me. It is this act of deep observation that forms the foundation of my work. I am
equally fascinated by finding new ways to interpret familiar subjects. My creative process is fueled by
experimentation. There's an element of serendipity in this journey, and it's always thrilling to see what unfolds!
