In this program Laurie will share how she uses a variety of creative thought, lists and checklists to provide a lower stress experience behind the lens. You'll leave this program with new ideas including:
• How to set long term goals
• How take smaller steps to achieve smaller long term goals
• How to make time for creativity
• How to harness the ADD tendencies of jumping from subject to subject to make sure nothing is missed
• How to quickly cull images and import files.
Laurie's Bio:
Laurie Biby of Beyond Ordinary Life Photography is an active member of INPPA, PPOK, and PPA residing in Broken Arrow Oklahoma specializing in high school seniors and family portraits. Her interest in photography began at a very young age. By age 7 she was photographing with a 35mm AE-1 and rolling her own film. In the pre-digital days Laurie attended OSU-Okmulgee where she studied photography. Laurie has continued her studies in this ever changing art through a number of the PPA Affiliate schools and workshops. As a self labeled spreadsheet and planning fanatic Laurie finds ways to harness her scattered “ADD brain” and channel this energy into productivity.
Laurie manages multiple websites for non-profits and businesses, social media platforms and more. When it comes to multi-tasking she is well ahead of the game. She is active in conservation groups statewide, volunteers her time with Flashes of Hope and Dress for Success as well as several smaller local charities.
On the photographic side Laurie competes in local, regional and international PPA affiliated competitions.
